Through these photos I hoped to signify Schizophrenia as the different people in the photos suggests different personalities as well as hallucinations that may occur with the disorder. I thought the lighting alongside the editing as it made the main model stand out against the background, making her the focus of the photographs. If I were to do this shoot again, I would get the extra models to wear plain clothing as I think the detail on their clothing took away from some of the photos for example the checked shirt.
I think this photo is effective as the movement on the arms shows the stress that a schizophrenic is constantly under, it also shows the many different directions they are drawn to. Each of the people represents a different part of her unpredictable personality, I also think that it signifies the paranoia that a schizophrenic person will experience as they feel like they are being harassed or persecuted by those around them.
